Using shift light as TH400 Kickdown trigger

I don't know if I am missing something here or what. I am trying to use the shift light to control kickdown on a th400 by triggering a relay. I know I can get it to work off RPM on the High RPM setting.... I need it to work off TPS. No matter what I do I can only get it to work off High RPM setting. Even when I use the scanner to activate the light it wont come one. Any ideas? I used a 2002 manual vette as my base file to test the theory.

It's supposed to work off RPM not TPS, but you can try setting the High RPM to a low value. Set Min TPS to the value you want it to kickdown and the MAX to 100
Set hysteresis and all other values accordingly, it should work.
The problem I see, it's going to activate everytime when you go WOT or reach the TPS value, since it does not have a Speed reference.
