going from 5.3L to 6.0L in 2004 truck

Im still new to hp tuners and figuring a lot of stuff out still. I recently had someone bring me a 5.3L truck that they put a 6.0L in it. The truck will barely run, doesn't run well at all. What do I need to change in the programming to make it for the 6.0 liter? appreciate the help

i believe you change the cylinder displacement volume to reflect a 6.0, then copy VE, MAF, Spark, injectors being used and associated tables from a 6.0 tune into the 5.3 tune.

Again a log would be helpful, use the default .cfg and add dynamic air, commanded AFR, IPW, MAF (HZ) for starters. If you can get the p/n of the injectors, that would help as well.

    Thx

Unless the injectors are different it should fire up and run fine. I've tuned several swaps. All of them have been able to start and run after the swap.

Go to tune repository and down load a 2004 Silverado 6.0 liter tune file (one attached above) and copy over the differences.
