Newbie question about tuning VE and MAF

I've got the new set up running and I'm ready to tune it. I can't seem to find the post I saw detailing how to tune VE and MAF. Can someone please either share the link, or detail how to do it. As I understand, these are the first to make sure are correct for best result all around. Thanks in advance and sorry for the rookie post.

Could you at least say what the engine is and the ECU is, and what has been done to the engine?

I don't rape PE tables cause I don't know what I am doing anyway....

sorry guys, motor is 436ci lsx, ls3 heads and intake, 230/241 600/605 cam, 90mm throttle body, e38 ecm, converter is loose 3600, 4l80e trans. this is the new set up from a 6.0l with the same cam, heads, etc. I'm new to the tuning game and as I understand it, if the VE and MAF are not correct. tuning for idle quality, etc can be difficult. Thanks again..

OP--Have you seen the Greg Banish DVD's?

    Do you have a wideband?
