    Selectable High Idle

Has anyone used the idle speed vs. ECT table to create a make shift selectable high idle? My thought is using a relay or two to change the ECT resistance to push the truck to a fake high ECT to raise the idle. I haven't gotten around to testing it but I think it may be possible.

You will need to make sure that whatever fake temp you command doesn't command insanely different fuel/spark, or trigger an "engine overtemp" DTC or something like that...but otherwise it works.

I think by doing the same thing they do with the IAT for nitrous retard (fake cold actually, not hot), you'll achieve the results you want.
