Fans come on at temp, but then won't go off below temp, until car is turned off.

Do you have the VSS connected to the harness?
2009 Maverick Silver G8 GXP M6 - 586hp
Engine Mods: TVS 2300 Magnacharger ARH 1 7/8" long tubes with catted x-pipe
Drivetrain Mods: Ram Dual Disc Clutch
Suspension Mods: Pedders/Wretched basic drag pack - BMR trailing arms
Misc Mods: Jamesbiz Catch can - GRRRR8 Heater hose relo kit
I don't think so, because it has never showed a mph reading in the Scanner other than 0.
I've been told if you didn't have the VSS hooked up that the fans will never turn off unless you turn the key off. If the VSS was hooked up the ECM would see vehicle speed and turn fans off, but I assumed that would be if the fan was above the turn on temp.
Might be something to try if you can't figure it out.
What engine/controller are you using? I have most of the Chevrolet performance files on hand if you want to check another out.

We will have to try the VSS next. That's the only way they get it to kick off is key off and then fire it back up. Then fans are off until it hits commanded temp again.
It's a GMPP LS7crate PCM and Harness.
Email me a file that has dual fans controlled by PCM if you have one.
