Link for 2bar os conversion tutorial?

Seems every link I find for the tutorial flash video on converting to 2bar map os is blank or dead link. Need to get a base VE table started.

Ed M always there to the rescue. I don't want to sound like a forum newb. I do a good bit of searching before I post my questions. Most what I've seen of write ups or posts about 2bar os has been on gen3 stuff where you have a VE start with and using it for boost reasons instead of the ease to get away from the gen4 VE mess.

SO what do most people do as a base VE table in the Gen4 where the VE table is all zeros and there's no previous VE table to start from? Can't just copy a VE from my Gen3 cause the RPM vs KPA rows/columns are backwards. Read the Bluecat program can help create this but the link in the sticky is dead and haven't search for it to go that route yet. Was hoping to skip all the Bluecat confusion by using 2bar map os using 1bar map and changing the MAP sensor linear back to the stock setting and tune the VE tables this way off the wideband

You can do what I do when I go between HPTuners and EFI Live or vice versa. Excel will help......Copy with label's the VE table you want to start from, open a blank excel page and paste the original VE table, using the mouse, select all the data including label's and copy, go to another open area of the excel page and Paste Special>value>transpose......the data will now be flipped :-) copy that data portion only and paste into the 2 BAR table....neat ya?

Sounds exactly like what I was thinking about doing. Just reformatted and got Windows 8 couple months ago. Gotta get excel loaded on this one. Thanks again Ed.

I cant think of any reason why you cant do that. Just populate the Boost portion of the VE table with the results at 105 kPa. Have you seen the latest Beta version of software where the great guys from HPTuners are in the final throws of integrating the BlueCat Coefficient generator into their software. Wont have to bounce back and forth once they are done. But in the interim, it is not all that bad to use the BlueCat software, its up to you.
