    Dead bank 1 STFT???

trying to diagnose a few things on this LS6

Bank 1 short term fuel trim is completely dead. zero bank 1 STFT.
also the bank 1 02 sensor is completely dead. checked voltage at the 02 and its working fine but the computer sees no voltage.

why would the bank 1 stft be dead?
why would the bank 1 02 sensor appear to be dead to the computer but has proper voltage when checking with mulitmeter?

    attached is the tune.

I will post a log later today.

The first thing to do is to swap the O2 sensors from one side to the other. If the problem follows the sensor, replace the sensor. If the problem stays on the side it was on originally, then start checking the wiring.

swapped bank 1 upstream with bank 2 upsteam. bank 1 still no stft adn bank 1 o2 dead.

I pulled out my shitty little pocket scanner just to make sure it wasnt my hp tuners and sure enough bank 1 02 is functioning normally on my shitty pocket scanner. bank 1 stft is also functioning properly on my shitty little pocket scanner.
So new questions: why the hell does my hp tuners scanner not read bank 1 o2 or bank 1 stft???????

Closed loop (STFT) will not bother trying when the sensor
is faulted. Sensor faults can come and go if they are
marginal, O2s in particular can change with the weather.
Yesterday's problem may not appear today. You have to
look at it all, in the moment, to be sure you're not chasing
    a stale situation.
