Customer came to me with a swap he had performed. 8.1 into a 90 blazer. They did their own harness etc had a mail order co remove vats etc. The problem is they did not use the electronic throttle, so naturally it wont go over idle. Serv # 12602801 ykyw hdw # 12589161 ykyw 2007 silverado processor.
Is there any way to go in and change some parameters to make it work with a cable throttle?
According to my lookup that pcm is compatible. Go to system and change the 1 to a 0 under dbw. You will have to shut off the codes related that pop up.
so etc 1 to 0 in system options?

So changing this in the table allowed me to have control with the cable. Thanks. Now it wants to idle high however, anybody got a file for an 8.1 or maybe a 7.4 with a cable throttle that I can copy the iac tables from?
