I wonder what the issue is with all of us then. Are you using an E92 2014/2015 file or something older?

i know they will, but if they thought they fixed it with each version, someone has to let them know they didn't. ;-)

It seems like it's more of a "copy" issue then a "paste" issue.

I can copy something in Excel and paste it in VCM Editor 2.25.2215 fine.

I can also copy some entire tables (MAF and VE work but not much else), but it will always copy the entire table, even if I only select one cell. Also, when I paste a MAF table into excel, everything is off one column. MAF table data is shifted to the left by one cell. Not sure if it's an excel pasting issue or hpt copying issue.

I am able to copy/paste inside the VVE editor without any issues. E38

i feel like an amateur even asking this question but i need to figure this out. i tried using the VVE on a
15 a8 c7 and im having some issues, if i change either axis to one of the preset options like .2-2 pratio or the rpm from 400-7000 it wont let me
make any changes it will say the following zones "25" are not supported, it says zone 25 almost every time. i knwo this means the boundaries are off
but i guess i dont know where to change them or how... is there a guide or anything for this?

also if i dont change the axis it will not give me the error but if i make any change to the table it will change huge areas when i apply it, is this
just how the ve algorithms work? thansk for any help

i haven't tried changing the axis' yet but yes, it seems to blend your changes into the table for you.

copy and paste does not work for me either. I think the problem is that it copies the complete table with row/column headers which can't be pasted into an array of cells when the row/column headers are not write enabled. So to work around this I copied to excel then selected what I wanted to copy from excel and pasted it back into my editor. Not perfect but it worked for me.

Copy/paste works fine for me in VVE editor, but that's about the only place. When copying things from MAF table if offsets things by one cell. I.e. value for 5800hz is actually under 5650.

Most of the rest copy won't work. Paste still does for the most part though.

One question about the VVE, once you copy and paste your error offset into each VE and generate coefficients, is it necessary to smooth the table?

You can try, but just by the nature of virtual VE it won't be as smooth as a "regular" VE table. Once you calculate coefficients it will roughen it up some.

I think most people don't and those that do manually smooth it

Cheers. I'll leave it as is once coefficients are calculated.
