    maf cal?

    just a couple of questions:

    1. is there a good thread on how to do a maf cal for fords?

    2. if i make a custom intake pipe with a different diameter tube where the maf is will a maf cal correct the readings (assuming the pipe is straight and not causing any turbulence at the maf)?

measure the current area and figure out the difference from stock to the new tube you are making and multiply that new found area difference to your MAF transfer to get your trims in line.

thanks but im not going to use a bigger pipe now. just found out that the stock maf (inside of the big bulky tube thing) has its own tube that i can reuse and attach a pipe to it to get rid of the stock sound resonator and restriction.

i havent done much logging yet but im thinking my trims arent in line. i might wait till i get a new filter and recheck then if needed do a maf cal then.

other than using a multiplier for a bigger size pipe, is there a way to do a maf cal just to get things close to zero?
