Thread: Injector preference

    Injector preference

Were going to put a P1SC on a 99 Silverado 5.3 A/T and need to select injectors for everyday use. Probably 8-10 PSI.
The engine will be basically stock except for some headers.
Looking for some opinions on a new set of injectors for this thing that will work good and be as few headaches as possible during the tuning process.

    What brand? Size? Type?

    Thanks!

Upgrade your 99 OS to like a 01-02 OS if you havent already.

Then I'd get a set of these, pick your size. Plug and play and I think they all the data you'd need. Lots of guys on LS1perforamce trucks runs these.

2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

You can't go wrong with a set of Injector Dynamics Injectors. They are a tuners dream come true as it pertains to a fuel injector. Every thing in your tune is based off correct injector data.

I don't know all the facts about switching but 99 was the first year and GM made many upgrades to the computer after 00-01 it has more tables and better tables to use.

I'm sure a little research on your part and you'd find your answers and then make the switch.
