3 Bar Speed Density not avaliable

Ive got a 2001 LQ4 complete with the harness and ECM that I am in the process of boosting. I checked my ECM today and it said that the 3 Bar speed density OS upgrade was not available. 2bar is not going to be enough for me, so what do I do? Will I have to get a different ECM? If so how do I make it run the the 4l80E?

Nothing wrong with the pcm, its 3 bar capable. All v8 car/truck pcm with ls engine are the same 1999-2002. You likely have o/s 12208322 which hpt did not develop the 3 bar o/s for. To get around it find a 2002 12212156 from a 2002 truck of same type and use it.

So all I have to do is load a 2002 file onto my ECM? If thats it, what will it cost me in credits. I have unlimited 2001 model year trucks.

I know this is a older post, what did you figure out on the OS flash and credits? Im wanting to upgrade to 3bar and and I have not licensed anything yet. Wanting to upgrade from the 12208322 OS to the 12593358 OS
