I was wondering if anyone might know how the injection spray targets on the LT1 differ from the Gen 4/5’s. One of the things often stated whenever you mess with the injection timing, is to be careful with spraying too late, with the intake valve open too far or you get cylinder wash. So this got me pondering what the smart GM programmers are doing with the LT1, seeing how the spray is not against the intake valve. I have not personally seen an LT1 head, and I do not know where the injector is physically located, the direction of spray or the pattern.
