2000 Chevy silverado 5.3 4x4 need help

So scanned my buddy's silverado just to get a copy of his stock tune and now his truck seems to run funny. Sometimes after u start it 3 or 4 times a check engine light will pop on (still need to read it) and then after it sits awhile it'll take a long time to start. I wrote his stock tune back in and same thing. Any ideas? Does anyone have a completely 100% stock tune I can copy directly onto it and be done with it. Also what's the best way to copy a tune over so nothing is missed or mistyped ? Thanks

Sounds like a mechanical/fuel problem and nothing tune related for having hard starts and check engine light.

Fuel pumps and fuel pressure regulators are pretty common on those year silverados, those could lead to hard starts. Time to do some testing.
