    HELP turning off drive by wire

    trying to turn off drive by wire and I am new at this software. can anyone help me. I have a stand alone harness so need to get rid of the vats, drive by wire so I can make it cable and get rid of the rear o2s. any help will be appreciated.

    there is the tune its fairly stock.

    Vats is turned off in the tune. You need to do a write entire when you flash to make it stay. Also look at dtc 420 and 430.

    To turn off drive by wire in this particular tune, go to System - General, then open the system menu and set the 1 under the ETC row to a 0.

    Most of what you wanted done was already done in the tune, the rest now is. As stated you should do write entire for vats. You can open your file and this file to compare to see differances.

    how do I get to the system menu? I cant find it. I know how to get to system to general where I can turn off the vats but idk where to do the rest.

    Under System - General, there's a button that says "System" it'll be just below "Platform Code". If that's not there, go to Edit - View and pick "Advanced".

    But it doesn't matter...the file mecanicman posted already has it done for you.
