    6l80e won't up shift correctly!

    I have installed an L76 (LS2) / 6l80e combination in a 1966 nova and the transmission won't up shift accept during normal driving. When WOT IT WILL NOT UPSHIFT..... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

    Im a newbie still but, post your tune. What area are you from? Car sounds familiar. Are you in Maryland?

    I would start with copying the numbers from pattern A into pattern B just to make sure it will work. What did your motor and tranny come out of?

    Disregard last post, I downloaded a stock 2009 G8 tune and compared it to yours and apparently the G8s do things a little differently than the Camaro/corvettes. The one thing I did notice is that you changed your shift pattern type under the transmission general section. I would change it back to the stock setting:

    Pattern A = pattern 1
    Pattern B = normal

    In that section, it recommends to not change those settings. Try that and see if the shifting changes.
