E38 ECM will not allow me access to program

Hi,

I have a 2010 Holden Commodore that I tried to do a tune with VCM suite. I was able to read the file initially and when I went to load the edited file into the ECM it keeps coming up with access denied by the security. The ECM is a E38.

I have since changed the ECM out for another unit and loaded the Base cal file from this Vehicle into it. This ECM now has the same issue as the original.

Has anyone come across a similar issue and if so how do I overcome it?

No it doesn't. Well not unless I have accidentally done it
