Ltft tuning shut off won't start

I'm tuning my fuel and with the maf sensor unplugged it starts and idles for a minute shuts off like some shuts it off and only cranks if I go to start it back up again. I have to clear the p0103 code in order for it to start back up

So you can't unplug the MAF....will have to fail the Maf by setting Maf Frequency High Fail to 1 and set P0101-103 to fail in 1st error and check the SES box. Then you can tune your VE.

Haven't looked at your tune or datalog since I don't have my laptop at the moment, but really just sounds like your speed density is off. Either your too rich or too lean. Either will cause this problem, but typically the richer one is the worse of the two. Would explain why giving it more air keeps it running.
