Lightbulb TqMgt question - is this possible?

I know how to limit TqMgt or even turn it off. What I would like to do is narrow the window or time the timing is being pulled. Is there a setting for this?

To elaborate, timing is pulled several milliseconds before it starts to shift and doesn't return until several milliseconds after the shift is complete. I would like that window of time that torque is being pulled to be more precise to start and end exactly when the shift starts and ends.

I didn't think it was possible? I thought the point of the timing pull was to allow the clutches to disengage and re-engage in order to complete the shift.

Sure, quick answer is "you can't". Sure would be nice if you could though.

It's not possible at this time.

Yes, your assumption to pull timing for clutch disengagement and reengagement is correct but timing is pulled way too early and returned way too late. My theory is if you could pull torque at precisely the right time your ET would improve and the reduce ware and tear on the transmission and reduce tire spin during shifts.

Here's a screenshot of the 6L90 in my ZL1. Seems to be timed perfect?

Edit: Just checked out a 6L80 datalog and it shows the timing being pulled slightly before the shift starts.

I go by feel. Electrically it might look close but I think mechanically the trans lags the request so to speak. Anyway, it's just an idea and might prove to be a disaster.
