    Minimizing Adaptives on 6L80E?

    I have a built PATC 6L80E and the trans has been taking everything I throw at it including 125 wet shot on top of 17 lbs. boost with 315/60R/15 Drag Radials. Just trying to make minor adjustments.

    I will have all parameters set exactly as desired and after a few days of normal driving the shifts actually revert back to slower shift times. I believe this has something to do with the adaptive settings. I can use reset and preset in Trans Adapt in scanner and immediately everything returns to my desired settings and shifts are very crisp and fast.

    How can I adjust settings to minimize the rate at which adaptive's work. I do not wish to disable but just slow down the process.

    Did PATC built that around July or August of 2012? If you post your file up, I will take a look at it for you.

    Yeah, I have made many minor adjustments since it was built. But so far so good on trans health.
    Actually I need to update my signature. For one, PATC also installed one of there converters as the one I had by another vendor was destroyed thus the reasoning for the rebuild.

    My adaptive settings are pretty much stock.
