I have a 2000 5.3 motor out of a silverado installed into a 93 miata. We used hp tuners to bypass the security and configure the motor for our use. The motor has a mild cam and shorty headers and a firebird intake manifold. The stock rev limiter wont clear off of the tune, and no matter where I have changed the rev limit, it still wont go past 5500 rpm. I have looked everywhere in the software, but havent been able to find anywhere that makes a difference. What am I doing wrong?
