Trying to go 2 bar on my 2010?

Hi guys, I'm trying to go 2 bar map speed density on my 2010 turbo gmc.

My friend just bought a 2011 cadillac escalade with a turbo. Went trough the file and i saw that the truck is on 2 bar map speed density and have different tables on the airflow>general table.

Will the speed density tuning of this year (2010 pcm) truck would be the same as to tune a 0411 pcm in speed density? I have my VCM scanner set up already wideband on just need some input.

Here's a pic can't upload the file it's giving me problems.

Not sure what you are asking? The pic of the tune you posted is running a custom OS from HP Tuners. You can do the same thing on yours. The speed density stuff on your current program should be the ridiculous virtual VE. Buying the custom OS simplifies it.

What I'm asking and want to know is if I can tune the VE with my VCM scanner and won't need another tool?

You'll need the scanner with some good pids, a wideband, and the VCM Suite. Also patience. If you want to run the stock virtual VE you'll also need this tool that translates the virtual VE into a VE table: http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showth...t-VE-Version-4

So I f I get a custom operation system the 2 bar map can I just use my vcm scanner and start tuning the VE?
Don't want to mess with the blucat tool.

    Yes the VCM suite.
I just don't want to deal with the blucat tool.
Thanks I will get the map sensor and buy another credit.

The upgraded OS is free with the latest HPT upgrade so you don't need to buy credits for it.

The bluecat tool really isn't very difficult to use. It was intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty straightforward. And it works really well!

Ok my understanding on this is that I can use the blucat with out going or buying credits to go with a custom operation system. If I don't use it i can always go speed density with a custom operation system and start tuning it without the blucat too right?

It is now free to get the custom OS. With it you don't need to use the bluecat tool.
