Hot Rodder needs help with Camaro V6 3800 ser2 running bad
I did a transplant of a Camaro 3800 ser2 V6 and 4L60E from 2002 into my Plymouth 1948 coupe. On first attempt the engine started fine and died after 3 seconds. I disabled the 2 VATS DTCs and the engine is not shut down. However, the spark advance is all over and after 10-15 seconds it starts to misfire badly.
Here are a few details of my build:
I have an original Camaro in-tank fuel pump, slightly modified
I have removed the EGR and harwired the connector
I have a set of home built headers with original O2 bungs on both sides. The third O2 connector is disconnected.
I have removed the A/C and the wiring
I have no BCM
The fly-by wire throttle is rewired and works fine
I am using the factory tune for the PCM, with exception for "3-no error recording" on the DTCs for VATS, the EGR, the A/C
I have no idea where to start looking, and I cannot keep it running long because of the misfiring.
I will attach a logfile from the scanner. I realize I probably need to set up or import a more extensive cfg-file, but have not figured out how to copy that down to my scanner yet.
