Thread: Trans shift tuning question

    Trans shift tuning question

Should the upshift numbers be higher or lower than the downshift numbers? Just wanting to build a spreadsheet with a graph to help me out, but I don't recall the order.
    Thank you,
    Rich

Cars and Jeep SRT8 use the NAG1 transmission and separate TCM. There is very little support for them anywhere. Trucks use an internal TCM that seems easier to access.

There a big need need for trans tuning for the LC LX 08 and up platform. Just to change rear end gear, Tire size, dia. Then its to shift point adjustment and rev limiter, needs to go to 6600 at the lowest point, line presure, clear adaptives, just for a start.
Many trans were smoked in the early days of tuning,,, with the brand XXXX cmr thats out there. Brand xxxx has that much for trans tuning. Just sayin.
Then we get to the vvt tables, woha. Better be on target.
I know and understand the learning curve and applause HPTuning and hope it moves forward. Im all for it.
