can bus gauges

I have can bus gauges from speedhut. I have tach, oil press, temp and volt. I have the readings on a scan tool but nothing with the gauges. do I need to reconfigure something in tuners. It is a e38 vcm if that helps. I swapped between the gauges and none of them work. It acts like the scanner is still plugged in. Went through all this with speedhut and they said it must be on my end. Any help would be great. thanks

what vehicle/pcm you have?

the donor was a 09 Silverado and it is a e38 pcm

can gauges have a master gauge or box that needs to be first in line and wont work without it, like if u have just the gauges hooked up with out the tacho they might not work, have u got all hooked up in series...? the master gauge or box is there first inline to tell the other gauges what to do...
