I have a LS1 5.7 transplanted into a 69 Camaro stock 5.7 with a cam. TH350 with a 2800 stall converter. (planning to change in winter to 4l60) Comp Cam specs are as follows:
Minor idle problems, I adjusted but surges a bit when put in gear and sometimes will die coming to a stop or putting in gear. I hope someone could look at this tune and give me an idea of what needs to be corrected. Thanks ![ATTACH]45573
Since you have a TH350, you need to tune the idle for when the car is in-gear, since you have no way of telling the computer that you are in P/N or "In-gear" to change idle characteristics.
ok, raised target idle by 100 across the board, added 2 deg. to spark advance 400-1000 rpm .08-.32 g/sec , multiplied Primary Ve column 400x.60 800x.80 1200x.90.
Holding nice idle, all else is good. only thing I would like to tweak, when I am slowing down almost to a stop it has a slight surge. If I come to a fast stop no surge. Any ideas? Thanks.
