I'm tuning an 01 Z06 that I need to upgrade to the 3 bar OS. I already registered the file with my credits. It's already upgraded to the enhanced 2 bar so I can't go back and set it up for the 3 bar. I don't want to waste money registering a stock 01 file from the repository so I was going to use a file from an 02 Z06 that I already have unlocked. Is this acceptable or is it going to cause problems?

I do it all the time. Should not be an issue. Just make sure you keep a copy around in case you need to go back.
