    DTC Error Mode

    Under DTC what do the numbers mean? Most codes have MIL on, MIL off and No error reported. Some have a number like 5,6 or 7. The drop down box has no numbers to choose from and if you change a 6 to a mil on, you can't choose to go back to 6. I have an 11 and 12 GT500 with different values for P0420 and P0430. One car has MIL On and the other has 6. The car with MIL sets the Monitors Quickly and the car with 6s takes forever. Any Input would be appreciated.

    Eric, Here is the calibration in question. The only changes that I have made are to the converter testing parameters that I have asked about.

    Eric, Did you happen to take a look at the file that I posted last week. I am still not having any luck with the o2 or heater monitors setting and the cats failing from time to time.

    Thank You

    Typically, Ford DTC's are as follows:

    0 = Disabled
    1 = No MIL
    2 = 2-trip MIL
    3 = Instant MIL
    5 = 1-trip MIL
    6 = Selectable 1 or 2-trip MIL

    Cheers

    We are making an adjustment to our DTC display for these other modes.
