    99 c5 getting KR above 4000rpm

Hello i am going to be alot more active on this forum for sure.
I just installed a powerbond 25% underdrive pulley and did the zip tie mod for fun on my c5.
Car feels real good idle sounds healthy and mid range is real nice.
As i did a pull while datalogging i noticed KR right above 4100rpm.
I did another pull to reassure and yes i am getting KR.
I really just want to learn and fix it so any insightful help would be greatly appreciate it.

Post up a log showing it.

You can fix it for sure, but folks will want to see what it looks like. How long it decays etc.

My 2000 C5 does it as well, worse in the summer. I just knock the timing back a bit just ahead if where it does KR.

RonSSnova is correct, you must pull back on timing a couple of degrees in the cell prior to Knock retard but we must see a log to know what your manifold pressure is when it occurs. For example if retard occurs at 90 MAP @ 4100 rpm you would want to go to "Engine", then to "Spark" then to "Main spark advance, high octane" When you pull up the chart you will see MAP on left and RPM on top. You would go to the cell prior to it occurring for example 88 MAP 3600 rpm and bring the timing down 1 or 2 degrees. Make small changes till you get it right. BTW a small amount of knock retard is ok, just dont let it get above 3 degrees. Each degree is about 2 Horsepower.

Thanks everyone for all the help. Ive been reading and reading but as always nothing is better than good ol hands on.
Ive been messing with it adding a little (5%) fuel and reducing timing (1-2*) but seems to have fixed the KR on wot but if i do a WOT pull and switch gears its as soon as i do that it starts KR.
I will post a log for sure soon thanks again everyone!!

    Datalogs and Tune

ok so ive finally used the actual features of this forum and uploaded the tune as well as a couple data logs.
the tune is somewhat a rough draft and a work in progress I just added fuel where I was getting KR and reduced timing by 2*.
the data logs are a 2-3 shift I believe and then just a 2nd gear pull
as you can see the 2-3 shift I got KR so I let off instantly and then todays data log I spun it all the way up to 5k+rpm and 0 KR

I will be waiting patiently and anxiously to hear what anyone has to say
    Thanks

PS I Do have a wideband but waiting to order a longer cable so I can hook it up to the exhaust clamp.

So, what happens if you shift faster w/o lifting clear off the throttle?
Timing went to 36 and you went right back to the floor.
I want to say burst knock, but it looks like you have that disabled.
    It decays very fast.....

I haven't messed with the stick shift stuff.
