Did Ford ever build a 5.4 with a 4R100 trans using the later PCM not a ECC pcm.
or should I ask could a 3V 5.4 with a 4R100 be controled by the 3V 5.4 PCM.
I have a F250 SD with a 5.4 thinking of getting a 3V 5.4 and PCM to repower it and be able to program it with HP Tunners.
3V 5.4 easy to find in Aust just the Aust trans has lower torque rating to the 4R100 in the truck now.
I dont want to import a engine and trans just to try it.
any Ideas would be great.
