2nd gear & 3rd down shift issue after stall?

    Hey guys,

Just put a stall in my buddys 09 g8 gt. Put a TCI 3200-3600 in it. For the life of me i cant figure out why the car hesitates when we want it to do a skip shift downshift. Here are a few scans that show it happening. It almost seems like a timing issue BUT i cant pin point it.

did you do a reflash of the tune after the converter. These 6 speeds can sometimes develop so nasty habits that have to be relearned after a flash. one of two things. perform a trans adapt fast learn with a tech 2, or similar upper end scanner. or drive it alot and it will learn. Also with those trans when you loaded the converter did you stand trans stright up and drop converter straight down, vertically. If you loaded it horizontally these are known to sometimes cut seals and cause internal fluid leaks that can do all kinds of crazy things. There is a bulletin on loading the converter vertically for this reason
