5.3L Blazer With manual transmission swap

Alright guys, im finally getting frustrated, so here's the issue, high revs on startup, goes to about 2k-2500 and settles back down, it also does the same thing during a shift, i have the 0411 ecu tuned to use 4l60e with all the parameters zeroed out but i may have missed somthing. if some one could take a look at the tune and lend a hand, ive also included 2 logs, one for startup and idle and one for driving, hopefully i logged it right.
    Thanks

Has any one had a chance to take a peak at this? I have played with the startup flare control a bit, but havnt had any luck and from what i can tell im getting just enought airflow on startup but im not positive.

    Thanks

I have a 5.3 in my 92 GMC with a nv3500. It was doing the same thing on startup. What I did was adjust the table Idle Airflow Startup Initial vs. ECT. I just multipled by half the entries from -40 to 140 ect temp. I did 3 or 4 times until the truck didn't flare up so much. You will find that under Engine - Idle - Airflow - Startup. You might want to adjust the friction startup airflow as well, but I didn't need to on mine.

Perfect, ill give this a shot, thanks, Would decreasing it a smaller ammount perhaps work out better, more steps but less change each time, multiply by say .75?

Sure, I just multiplied by half until mine was right. It shouldn't matter how you reduce the numbers. At some point you might go to far and it might not start. Just add some back in if that happens.

By the way, I didn't mess with any of the 4l60 trans settings, I just turned of the related codes it threw from not having the auto installed.

I was wondering about that, I got the idle to come back down properly when the clutch was pressed in, for some reason the ECU would drop and hold it at about 2700 for a while then drop back down, after i got rid of one or two of the settings that settled out quite a bit. Now it drops to 1k rpm then settles out at idle regardless if im moving or not

Build a new config. Start with default imperial, delete everything but rpm. Then go to the add pid list and click on idle. Add all of the pids that end in airflow. Do a scan that includes startup and 30 seconds of run time and post it.

how low did you take that table?

Here is what mine looks like. Its a 2002 5.3 that had a 4l60 and now is in front of a nv3500 in my 92 gmc.

Here is my base running airflow table. Notice that the both rows are the same as the truck now doesn't know the difference.

I'm not sure what you mean by yours ends at 140, as that isn't possible. Besides I can see yours in the tune you posted called GRU2.hpt in the first post in the string.

    Here is your table

    Labels -40 -4 32 68 104 140 176 212 248 284
