    Knock Sensor levels with link bar lifters

    Has anyone had to adjust their knock sensor levels when using link bar liters with gen III knock sensors?

    STR8BALLN, not really mate depends on cam but, if say a very aggressive cam has been ground on say XER LOBES or similar in some cases i have seen them trigger KR and the tune has been spot on, so the knock sensors needed to be less sensitive...but the lifters were ls7 and were located by new buckets, so I'm not to sure about the tie bar style but i don't think that should be a issue mate hope that helps..     yeah I have had to on some tunes but like lsx said only more with aggressive lobes and tie bars on l98 etc. later model stuff not ls1 pcm's .But make sure the lifter preload is correct ,most of the problem is when some one has not build the motor correct and your trying to tune around it . lol
