1999 PCM with 2001 OS? any issues when licensing?
I am new to HP tuners and just starting to learn what I need to do to tune my car. I bought a pullout of an 1999 z28 that I have in my rx7. I bought my HP tuners used and all of the credits had already been used up. I am planning on buying 2 credits so I can register my pcm to my unit. When I looked up the VCM suite info it said that I have a 2001 pcm and operating system. I looked at my pcm and it has the serial numbers(09354896) that match a 1999 pcm based off of the table at http://chevythunder.com/LS1%20compon...Identification. When I bought my pullout the guy I bought it from changed the tune to disable VATs and a few other small things. Later I also sent the pcm to Frost when I rebuilt my engine.
Do I actually have a 1999 pcm with 2001 OS or do I have a 2001 pcm? Will I have any issues licensing it?
