Wideband output drops when plugged into HPtuners cable

I'm having an issue when my wideband isn't plugged into the HPtuners cable it reads higher than when I plug it in. Example when the car is off and has been for a while it will output 4.96v at the green connector, immediately plugging it into the HPtuners cable it drops to 4.6v at the green connector even though its still putting out 4.96v at the wideband controller. My box also spits out at least .1λ difference from what is picked up in HPtuners, I know adjust the offset but the problem is its putting out the right voltage its HPtuners that is making it drop. Any suggestions other than changing the offset? because its farther off the farther from stoich it is.

Modded NGK into AFM1600, I have it clamped directly to the battery.

I have both power and ground going to the battery and then the input is grounded to the green connector. Should I be grounding it else where?

Have you checked your transfer function during start up?

Well that's just the thing, the NGK start up came out perfect .62/ 1.00 but this one is .60/ 1.15 with the AFM function. So I'm pretty sure the NGK didn't have this problem. I'm not sure what the AFM is supposed to spit out though. But even at lambda the voltage only seems to be a little off, like .01 lambda. I'm pretty sure since voltage is changing so much it isn't the function. I'm using V/7.143 +.600

The AFM-1600 outputs 1v, then 4v, then 0v. You should see 0.74, then 1.16, then 0.60 during startup. I began using mine last night and it had no issues.

Unplugged from the Hptuners interface that's exactly what I get. As soon as I plug it in it drops. Start up plugged in I'm getting .70, 3.6, and 0.0v. I tried two wiring harnesses still the same. I have deutch connectors for the output wires so I pulled them apart to just wires and same thing. The AFM is spitting out the correct value until it's plugged into HPt. Anyways to check the HPt box? I should have my second AFM box back soon and will check that one to see if it's the box.

Btw I have my harness power with clamps to clamp directly onto the battery, and the input wires directly into the green connector. I know I didn't used to have this problem because it spit out 1.00L whenever I started up the AFX.

Ha I actually did that without even reading it, the battery checks out 1.5v. I put my multimeter on the screws of the green connector, unplugged into the hpt it reads corrects, plugged in with both usb and obd2 cables plugged in it's off. If just the obd2 cable is plugged in to the interface it is off. So I'm guessing my obd2 cable is messed up. I may try it in my autoprom device later to make sure it's not a grounding issue with the harnesses. But I've tried 2 vehicles, two harnesses and same problem.

Cut clamps off, resoldered them with a new iron and all is correct again.
