Currently have a 2001 GMC Sierra with OS12208322.
Truck is a 5.3L with a 4L60E transmission. Still has a cable operated throttle body.
Wondering if there is any benefits to changing to a different operating system? One from a Camaro or Corvette?
If so what OS should I go with?
In my opinion, no there is really no benefit.
Just tune the truck the way it is, lots of things you cando to wake it up and behave like a totally different truck.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
I wouldn't do that stay with the truck file & mess with TQM & shift points,etc
