    2004R non electronic transmission settings

When tuning my LS1 with a 200R4 behind it, I come across settings for P/N and Drive. Do These settings / tables get used for this setup?

And I thought this would be an easy question. Anyone?

If you don't have the neutral safety switch wired in, the PCM thinks you are in gear all the time.
So in this case, you only need to worry about those tables.
I assume you are talking idle stuff?
Is your PCM from a manual or auto?

No neutral safety is wired into the ECM. I'm starting to tune the idle. I bought the ECM from spare ECM, I believe it's set up for an automatic. Is this the default setting? So I just work with the drive tables?

HPT will tell you what the ECM came from.
Just work with the drive portion.
Man and auto have the same tables.
Man trans just won't have anything in the PN rows.

There is a PID for the main table called PNRD it will tell you what it thinks its in. There is also a non electric setting in the editor.
