    Some Questions

I am just starting to tune with HPT on my vehicles and want know a few things. First I have an 06 Escalade 6.0 LQ9, cold air intake, throttle body spacer, shorty headers, cat back Magnaflow system. I purchased the HPT for specific reasons and also purchased Innovative LC-2 wideband kit so my questions start:
    1. With the wideband kit there are four factory o2 sensors (all read errors I believe from the headers) so to install the LC-2 as is it would only read i side of the exhaust do to dual factory pipes from the headers back to the muffler or do I need to install dual sensor kits? Also can I remove the factory sensors all together after the tune is setup and written to the VCM?
    2. I also want to change to SD but upon purchasing the MAP sensor recommended (GM Parts Direct #12592525) it will not work with my intake. My MAP just has two clips, no screw holding it in place. New one has provision for one screw and clip on other side. ACDELCO Part # 213796 would anyone know if this is 1, 2, bar sensor as it is the current installed?

That's it for now, there is alot of info out there but not able to find relatively current nor specific. Thanks ahead for any help.

    Just a little quick help.

    1. I believe you have a Gen 4 engine and should put this in the Gen 4 section.

    2. You can put your wideband in either of the front FRONT two o2 sensor positions for tuning.

    3. You must re-install the front two o2 sensors as they play an important role in engine adjustments.

    4. Using an SD only tune on this engine does not make sense.

The reason for the SD tune is we will be running a turbo setup. I understand the factory O2's role but asking if wideband is installed, do you run off that, being your tune is setup off it or do you go have to go back to the narrows. If your not sure and want to confuse things like which Gen motor it is, that doesn't help but thanks anyway.

Since my 2005 6.0 engine is a Gen 4, I certainly was not trying "to confuse things". But I will refrain from burdening you with any of the experience I have gained over the last couple of years wide band tuning my car and others with HP Tuners. I am sure with your surly response to my attempt to be helpful, you will continue to get the type of response to this thread that have gotten already.

It really wasn't meant to have any mal intent, but to seek reliable answers to a couple questions. As far as running it in one side, you would not know if you have any injector differences, misfires, etc while tuning. I spoke with innovative and have been instructed to purchase a completely different setup so it can run two wideband sensors while tuning, again Thanks
