    l99 with tr6060

So i have a few questions. New to the forum and am not a tuner so forgive me lol

I am about to do a transmission swap in my 2010 Camaro ss. It is currently l99 (auto) and swapping in a tr6060 manual.. I have a couple delimas

Is there a patch to get the manual vss to read on the e38 ecm/bcm

Also is it possible to flash the ecm to the Ls3/m6 file then enable the vvt to work?

The L99 and LS3 use the same OS's in the Camaro. You should be able to remove the TCM and make the appropriate wiring changes, then read the PCM out...set it up as a manual, then flash back in.

I haven't tried to enable VVT in an LS3 tune (though I do want to).

If you want to try to flash in an LS3 program...post up your file, if I've got a matching OS from an LS3 car I'll share it for you.

Mine is just a stock tune. Was going to tune it after I swapped transmissions. I have headers, CAI, and muffler delete. Basic bolt ons. Thank you

Post it. There are multiple stock 2010 Camaro tunes.

I'll have to get my buddy to do it. I personally do not have HP tuners...(planning on it). I will definitely get it posted. Then maybe you can try your hand at making the VVT work with the Ls3/m6 os lol. I've been talking with another guy that does have VVT with an m6 but his is a separate controller and for a couple years still can't get the vss to register on the factory control panel.

I think you're thinking of the guy with the LY6 in the 1994 Firebird right? His dash works differently.

I just recently restored my netbook to make some tune adjustments. I have the latest version of HP ( looks nice fellas ) and can compare some aspects of my tune for you guys as well if need be. Sub'ing for future reference
