so i just did some changes and flashed the pcm, it goes through all the steps until the end and i never get a completed? it disconnects itself and the begin button re highlights. like its done but i never get anything that pops up and says its done

No, nothing specifically pops up and says "You did it!".
But the connection window will update with completed items in green. The Begin button will become active again, and the Abort button will change to a Close button. I think that's it.
Popups are old school and are annoying.
2.25 has even less popups than 2.24.
We got this guy Not Sure, ...
Make changes, load to pcm, re-read pcm and check if changes were made.
Best way to verify.
