Ordering an AFM-1500 myself for tuning and keeping my NGK and Haltech/Daytona as backups/sanity check. I normally use my NGK in the exhaust in place of a narrowband pre-cats and then use my Haltech/Daytona in the tail pipe which is logged on my dyno to verify readings. I figure 2 readings are better than relying on one.
    More info please?
Where to send it and roughly how much?

    Thanks!

You're kidding, right? Innovate sponsored that "test".

NGK AFX is still sold with both NTK and Bosch sensors, you need to be careful when buying. Cheaper units always have the Bosch sensor

Contact ECM to do modifications to your unit. The most accurate way to of using an AFX style wideband is get the AFM1000 and the DIS1000. The DIS1000 is just a display that you can order to be programmed to whatever stoich afr or lambda or EQ and hooks up to the AFM1000.

The one thing I have been looking for is a large LED panel that will accept voltage input and you can program a transfer function to so that I can put up in the dyno bay to watch on a huge display while making pulls.

From an e-mail to me dated 2/18/2013.

    "Hello,

The original units several years ago came with Bosch sensors. The AFX comes with the NTK sensor 24302 now.

That's from NGK...you're only going to get one "new" with a bosch sensor if it's been sitting on a shelf for years.

Ok so emailed ECM and for $200 they can change it to lambda, increase the range to .6-1.3L and make some changes for voltage stability. Just have to mail it to them.

Still you need to be careful. I bought one a few months ago and I saw several units with Bosch sensor, they were like 40 bucks cheaper. I noticed because of the reduced price

Is there a way to tell the difference between the bosch or NGK units? Or are they labeled?

Bosch units are cheaper and the sensor is different. In the description of the product it should say if it has the NTK sensor
If it doesn't say, ask the seller. Most of them make very clear their units have the NTK sensor

The best part about it is the NTK sensors do not drift with age. They either work and give 100% accurate results, or it doesn't work at all. I used the same sensor for over a year tuning with it daily, before it finally died and I had to replace it. Replacement sensors are $400 for the AFM-1000 though.
Been thinking about one of these for a while now and I think I am ready to make the jump. Is the sensor durability as good as they say it is??

I sent my AFX unit to ECM on Tuesday I think. Arrived today and they already emailed me saying it's done. Quick turn around! When it gets back I'm sending my second one in as well. I should have an update next week with a review.

    Good stuff!

Sent one of mine off a couple of days ago but it's a bit further for me
