NGK AFX WITH NTK SENSOR vs Innovate Motorsports LC-1

NGK AFX WITH NTK SENSOR or Innovate Motorsports LC-1?

Which one works the best for wideband tuning with HP Pro?

    Thx

LC-2 has replaced LC-1. The LC-2 is cheaper than the AFX, it can be programmed for different ranges, it is cheaper and it can be used with a gauge. With that said, I would go with a LC-2.

    The NTK sensors are superior.

The AFX with NTK sensor is far superior in accuracy.

Ok, I was speaking in terms of just the AFX vs LC-2. The AFX dosen't come with the NTK does it, I thought it came with a Bosch? On Summit and such it dosen't advertise what sensor it comes with.

Almost everywhere advertises it with the NTK. Pretty sure it's standard now. Even with the Bosch sensor, it's still better.

Built in heater control, warranty, easy to setup because of the 2 point calibration. Accurate to within 0.01 60 day money back guarantee. Try one, you will like it.

They all have built in regulated heaters. What are you basing their accuracy against? Has it ever been tested against an industry grade unit? You do realize the NGK has idiot proof free air calibration, right? Along with a leaded fuel resistant sensor.

    Show me the data.

I can show you data where afx accuracy is less than innovate, widely published on the internet. I have an afx, bought largely off your saying how good they were some time back, nice unit. But also notice the part were I said "in my opinion". 14point7 has some very nice features built into it that make it nice to use and solve some issues newbies have trying to make their wideband match hpt. Lots of info out there about it you want to look, I am just pointing out my new favorite wideband.

End of story. The AFX is a AFM-1600 with a modified display. Like I said, show me the data.

Yes, the AFX comes with the NTK sensor.
Used one for tuning my C5.
Liked it so much, I bought another for my Turbo Nova.
I do wish the display had the option to read lambda though.

I won't use anything but my AFM-1000. Best money I ever spent when it comes to tuning.

The best part about it is the NTK sensors do not drift with age. They either work and give 100% accurate results, or it doesn't work at all. I used the same sensor for over a year tuning with it daily, before it finally died and I had to replace it. Replacement sensors are $400 for the AFM-1000 though.

NGK AFX comes with an NTK sensor. I have friends that own widebands with Bosch sensors (everyone seems to love the AEM UEGO because it's so cheap) and their sensors die every few months. It's ridiculous.

You can have the NGK read lambda on the display... you just have to spend a little money and send the box in to ECM to re-flash the chip to show lambda instead of AFR in reference to 14.57:1 stoich.

Ordering an AFM-1500 myself for tuning and keeping my NGK and Haltech/Daytona as backups/sanity check. I normally use my NGK in the exhaust in place of a narrowband pre-cats and then use my Haltech/Daytona in the tail pipe which is logged on my dyno to verify readings. I figure 2 readings are better than relying on one.

Per the Ford Muscle article... the Innovate is the way to go... I've used it so many times with success that I wonder why change it.
