Maybe im just dense and using the wrong terms in my search. Anyways, I am doing an lsx swap into an older truck. The last few times ive done this I just downloaded the stock tune, turned off vats and called it a day. This time it has a bunch of performance goodies and I found a tune that matches the mods to the T. Can I just download a tune, license that tunes VIN and flash it? or do I have to license both vins? 4 credits?

If you download the tune from the repository and flash it it will cost you 4 credits. To do it with 2 credits, make sure that the files are the same pcm and type, then license the file in the pcm, download the tune from the repository, open it using compare function and copy the differances across.

mecanicman your right compare and copy the differences on your file but don't download straight from repository ...OS no's the same
