2011 LS3 with Maggie in 68 Camaro IAT reading high

I'm just finishing up a Magnacharged LS3 6 speed swap in a 68 Camaro and fired it up for the first time. Keep in mind it has yet to be tuned. Anyway I am logging very high IAT values even thought the engine isn't warmed up yet. Note the IAT is reading 198F while the engine temp is only 90F, I have taken the IAT wires out of the MAF sensor connector and attached them to the IAT sensor in the Magnuson intake. I checked the ohms of the sensor and it is right in line with another Magnacharger on another car in the shop. Is there some recalibration of the sensor that needs to be done in the tune?
    Any ideas or suggestions?

You will probably have to rescale the IAT calibration to match the sensor that is in the Maggie. Beautiful car by the way.

Look under Engine diagnostics -> Airflow and paste in this calibration:

HartRod, Thank you! Are the labels supposed to be the resistance values? I can change the temperature values in my table, but the resistance values don't match the labels you have posted.

on that pop up in your pic just click on the "resistance" lable and another table will pop up for u to be able to change the resistance values

Thanks guys! That did the trick.
When I tried copying the values from the forum to the tune it didn't paste right where the line wraps, so I put the values into a spreadsheet in case someone else needs them in the future.

You can use the data from a 2005 GTO IAT.Well Any E40 2005/2006 will work.

what i found was if the engine was left overnight is a shed just plug in hptuners scanner with non running cold engine and have a look at the ECT and IAT are they the same temp..? i found my IAT was 3 deg higher than the ECT so i slowly changed the percentage of the whole ohms scale until it was the same deg as the ECT then i checked the ohms readings against some of the GM IAT readings and it was basically spot on with one set of the proper ohms, so all good seems when i got my blower kit they used a different sensor to what the vehicle came with...

Your welcome and glad we could help. Is this Joe Lutz, from hot rod dynamics? I've got one of your radiator covers on my 68 C10 with LS3/6L80/TVS1900.

The Camaro is done. I got PCM of NC to tune it. It runs great. The truck is 90% there. I just need to do some idle tuning. It trys to surge and die sometimes when I come to a stop or idle across a parking lot.
