Hard starts when warm after injecotr upgrade

I looked around alot of threads to find a good answer and seems like i got lucky doing what i did. Since i upgraded to the 50/lb flex fuel injectors The car would fire up on cold starts with no issue, however warm starts required 1 unsucessful crank followed by me holding the pedal down to eventually get it to catch. With no driveability issues though.

Played around with the fuel-cranking fuel and now it starts instantly on cold and maybe a revolution or two and fires perfectly on warm starts, i could not be happier

What i did was took my old injector value and new injector value (28lbs vs50lbs) got 22 subtracted from 100 got 78 used that as .78 and muliplied that in all rows from 104deg to 248deg ect. It might not be exact but it fixed my issue fuel.JPG

Just for curiosity, where did the 50lb injector data come from and was the tune stock up to the injector change?

    Thanks,

DSteck provided the calculations for the injector data. These are Delphi flex fuel 50# off of the 2011+ 6.0 and 6.2L gm trucks. All the neccesary tables were changed. So no tune was was definatley not stock. Just had the warm start issue.

Which 50lb injectors are they? There's two different types for flex fuel vehicles. I wonder if I figured the data for the other type.

I'll try to look when I have a minute. I may have used the wrong Escalade file. It's confusing as shit because there's two separate part numbers for two different injectors, but I haven't found anything to pin down which is which.

i dont see how you wouldve did that, car drives beautiful, id assume if all the wrong injector data was in, the car would run like ass id assume. These injectors were rated 50psi at @58psi fuel pressure

Both injectors are rated at roughly 50lb/hr. Their short pulse and offsets are pretty different though.

I loaded all the tables in your file that you uploaded, car didnt take well at all to the new changes for whatever reason. flashed back to the prior tune you uploaded for me, and all is well again.

The data I posted just recently is the proper data for the 12613412 injectors. I've double verified it.

I'll try again later tonight....just change the 4 tables you had changed in the tune? Flowrate vs.kpa- offset vs volts-short pulse adder- and min inj pulse correct?

That's what I copied down the first time. Do I need to apply this in metric or imperial? Will it make a difference?

Thanks for all your help though dsteck these injectors would still be in a plastic bag if it wasn't for your data

Dsteck- your info was spot on, when i reviewed the tune the first time looking at what you had copied over and did the compare only i also put in the makeup pulse min table which screwed up everything. Car runs great now, thanks again.
