    iat placement

So I have a Aaron's elbow on top of my vic jr. Im gonna go with SD and curious if I can just tap somewhere on the elbow for the iat sensor. If so whats best side or back? Also a nitrous car, plate kit. Will the nitrous or fuel harm the sensor? Thanks

Alright from what ive been able to gather from other sites, the iat sensor needs to be before the plate on the tb. With that said ive seen some people just route the sensor out to ambient air. Thoughts on this?

That seems to be what the NA guys do to avoid heat soak of the IAT,
C5 corvettes for instance place the IAT up near the air filter, it's actually part of the MAF sensor, which you of course don't have.
Did you try the car yet?

The nitrous has nothing to do with it.
This is a wet system right?
    Cowl sounds ok to me.

I went ahead and ordered a few feet of intake tubing from silicone intakes. Figured it couldn't hurt to pull the air from outside the engine bay
