Can't access E38 Swap car. security access denied

    I have a Chevelle with a LS7 Swap and E38 PCM
After not being able to flash the car and everytime i would try and read or flash it and showing security access denied i had the car flashed with the same VIN with GM software and still same issue....

    Any ideas???

pcm sounds either tunerlocked or corrupt to me.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

The e38 ecu that you have is not flashed for the same year make or model eng. operating system. GM has a few different internal software/chips they used. The gm Programing cam flash the tunes, But when the HPT. software see's the ecm ID it thinks it is tunner Locked. Had this problem with an 09 truck e38 installed in a 13 Truck.

Yea i ended up calling the company on the back of the PCM and talked to the guy who does the flashes. He used ls1edit and does his BS.

Funny thing is we have a 69 Camaro at the shop with a LS7/T-56/P1SC and that car has the Exact same VIN programmed in it and it's not locked up and can pull and flash it no issues.
I haven't Pulled the PCM in the 69 yet to see if it has the same tag

I just ended up getting a new PCM and having it flashed with the GDI software and now i can finally tune next week.
