From what I understand, you need to uninstall all versions from you computer. Then, download 2.24. After that you can download the 2.25 BETA without having to write over the public version.

Yes, if you have Beta installed, delete it.
Then download latest Public release and install
Then download latest Beta and install.

Scanned and uploaded my GT500 last night. Three things worth noting:

    1. When I downloaded the tune from the car, there's a new screen that came up asking about what hardware to use. I chose Copperhead not knowing which to use, it seemed to work.
    2. Upon uploading the file, the 5.8L engine isn't available in the drop down list.
    3. I tried to connect the scanner to the car, and it said it wasn't supported (beta 2.25.223 if I recall correctly) and to use 2.24. Is that correct?

Thanks again to Eric and Bill!

    1. Correct, this new window allows reading & writing of specific modules now and means even if our software doesn't recognize the vin or operating system you can designate what pcm or tcm to attempt reading it as, very handy for oddball applications that we don't technically support even though we may support the controller.
    2. We Updated the repository drop down lists yesterday and thought we had everything covered but appears we missed this, we'll have it added but no eta as its a low priority.
    3. Correct.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Is there a rev limiter missing in the 5.0 tunes. I seem to be hitting one before the commanded 7400rpm?

I recently just install 2.24 and that's all I have. I will try and download the 2.25 see if I can have both of them.

Post your stock file and modded file in a separate thread and I will take a look. It is possible.

I'm so happy. Now I can tune my vette and 5.0. Will get the beta and start playing with my modded 5.0 next week.

Will the automatic transmission tables in Beta 2.25 work with the ZF in the aussie Falcon?

^ i doubt it, but there was a few torque reduction tables Eric added to a few of the aussie strategies that has hopefully been added to all aussie strategies that are supported.

Why do u still not support the 04 and earlier mustangs? I would love to use both cars on the same softwear instead of using sct for the mustang and hptuners for the camaro!
