    LE5 Cams

Anyone here every map the phaser travel out on one of these?
Also can someone please verify for me that the phaser solenoids are controlled via PWM %DC control? im hoping that they are controlled DC% instead of AC Control.

Technically a variable voltage would be AC and a PWM is thus AC. However AC normally fuxs on both sides of 0... If you have a scope and it never goes below zero you could consider that a DC supply... you may also be able to see it with a good high sample DMM.

My car isnt running right now or I'd go confirm for you, but I suspect it a square wave PWM 0-5VDC.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping g because that's how the lnf is. If it is that way it make my life so much easier down the road. If you get a chance to verify that would be awesome.

I would expect a DC type control circuit. An AC circuit wouldn't be very useful for driving an electromagnet.

well ill be using an aftermarket ecu so this would help be a heck of a lot easier in dc mode.
