    Another idle help,

    My cam specs

    Yes this cam is in a built 5.3 with a 88. I know it is a semi big cam for a 5.3, but it was free from a very good friend of mine. I have had good success with stock motors @ over 600 too the wheels. This cam is kicking my butt. I have tried the idle configs they seem to work ok,but im not even close to were I need to be. I can get it too start if I blip the throttle. It will hold a idle under my commanded idle bye 200rpm. After it is running for a minute or so it will shudder and sputter and die. I was able to get my afr in the high 13s to low 14s with with 2.2 ms with my 80lb injectors. Im not asking for a hand out, im looking to get this thing to idle correct so I can go from their. I will post my config. Any help would be great.Thanks

    hey mate , had a look your VE map looks quite "rich" ie in idle M.A.P points......does it surge at idle?but saying that at 50-70kpa 400-1200rpm doesn't look too bad....also dude injector data for those 80lb doesn't look correct mate....short pulse limit 3.997 that looks stock shouldn't that be say 3.921 or less with 80lb.....offsets?........also dude your underspeed/overspeed data SHOULDNT be the same put it back to "STOCK" get it to idle fairly and divide it by half etc....those settings WILL AND WOULD be affecting your IDLE IMMENSLY so change those and it will idle a lot better.....good luck copley87blazer cheers Bret ULTIMATE LSX TUNING
